North East Lincolnshire Council

North East Lincolnshire Council is a unitary local authority covering approximately 74 square miles of the northeastern part of the county of Lincolnshire. Part of the Yorkshire and the Humber region that borders the Humber Estuary, North East Lincolnshire includes the coastline towns of Immingham, Cleethorpes and Grimsby as well as a small part of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Council Leader, Cllr Philip Jackson, said: “Our focus on the renewables industry is one of our key strands of work, helping support renewable energy companies that choose our area to grow their business. Projekt Renewable is a unique scheme for the town, both celebrating the opportunities presented by sustainable energy production in the area but acting as a catalyst for bridging the gap between the industry and the local community, showcasing exactly how versatile, accessible and promising renewables is, for everyone. The renewables sector and its growth in North East Lincolnshire offers us so much and it is vital that young people, and their families, are provided an opportunity to see what is on offer.
