The children will visit the Heritage Centre have lunch and complete a crafting activity using recycled resources. Discussion, comparison and debate throughout the afternoon.
Exploring job roles, pay and what life at sea was really like, the kids also took part in a group competition to show why they too could be inspirational and follow in the footsteps of some of the great people born and raised proudly in the area.
After some lunch, the day finished back at Projekt where the kids looked into the future, with activities that focused on renewables and Grimsby’s future.
Windmill making facilitated some chat around job roles and how they can access careers within the industry.
